Job summary
Benfield Park Medical Group is looking for a part time permanent Healthcare Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic Nursing/HCA team.
We are a forward-thinking practice with a list size of 10,000 patients with an excellent reputation.
Main duties of the job
The role is rewarding and will suit someone who is equally as enthusiastic and motivated about delivering quality healthcare as our other team members. Training will be provided, if required, to equip the jobholder with the necessary skills.
The practice operates the Year of Care model for chronic disease management and holds regular nurse meetings and educational sessions.

We are a supportive practice with a diverse patient population operating from a modern purpose-built health centre.
We have an inner-city location and are actively involved with the local provider company (federation), Primary Care Network, Medical School and Northumbria GP Training Programme.

Job responsibilities
Working under the direct supervision of the senior practice nurse and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the healthcare assistant will assist the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.
