Job summary

The primary purpose of this post is to set up a workable program of works which will beadded to the PPM schedule to clean all the window, Gullies and plant rooms across thesite.

You will own and govern the planned maintenance programme for the trust. You willalso support the upkeep, control and consistency of the trust's assets. Working closelywith other colleagues and service providers, you will support the Trust's ambition tomaintain the estate's assets. This means in respect of the physical condition of theFacilities, all the components are sound, clean and safe and exhibit only minordeterioration.

The post holder will work with the Supervisor and Manager to ensure that all buildings, assets and associated details are correctly recorded within the Micad system (PPM).

The high level, specialist cleaner and maintenance assistant will provide acomprehensive service ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to RBH by formingpart of the Fabric Team, providing high level cleaning and maintenance service for theRoyal Berkshire Estates team. PPM and reactive/planned work to be carried out dailyand to ensure activity tasks are completed within the time allocated. A key part of this role will be to ensure that a wide range of routine maintenance activitiescan be delivered.

Person Specification

Experience

Essential

  • Experience in prior, similar roles within the Building industry or specialist cleaning field

Desirable

  • Experience of working for an NHS Trust or similar public sector body

Knowledge

Essential

  • Knowledge of a range of building services and repairs and / or previous experience in a building services

Desirable

  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and risk
