Main duties of the job
The role of a Housekeeper at Henlow Court involves creating an environment that is clean, comfortable, and welcoming, which is fundamental to the care we provide. As a housekeeper, you'll be maintaining a homely environment that our residents love living in. We welcome individuals with a background in housekeeping, hospitality, or anyone who takes pride in creating clean and inviting spaces. The position offers a wage of £12.75 per hour and includes benefits such as a refer-a-friend scheme, ongoing career development, fully funded qualifications, a Blue Light Card discount, and a company pension scheme. The role involves working 30 hours per week, including alternate weekends. Key responsibilities include keeping communal areas clean, maintaining room cleanliness through tasks such as dusting and vacuuming, and working collaboratively with the management team to uphold hygiene standards. Additionally, Housekeepers are encouraged to engage with residents through acts of kindness, such as sharing a smile or a conversation, to enhance their day-to-day experience.
