We are looking for highly motivated flexible individual to join the large welcoming Housekeeping Team as a Housekeeping Supervisor.
This will be a Part time position of 22.5 hours per week; successful candidates will need to be able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of a 7 day service over a 12 week roster working shifts between 07:00-22:00 this position also involves working 4 weekends over 12 weeks this particular shift pattern is predominate 14:00-22:00 shifts so must be able to meet this requirement
There is also a requirement to travel to other off site premises that are part of Kettering General hospital so full UK driving licence is required
Shift times are as follows :
07:00-15:00 any 3 days from 7
11:00-19:00 any 3 days from 7
14:00-22:00 any 3 days from 7
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will need to have proven knowledge of delivering a successful housekeeping service, previous supervisory experience would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a continued presence on all clinical areas of the Trust ensuring continued support to the housekeeping team.

Education, Training & Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ in Cleaning or equivalent experience
- Educated to level 2 or equivalent level of education, training or experience.
- Level 2 or equivalent in English Literacy Skills.
- Level 2 in English Numeracy Skills.
- Level 2 in IT skills.
Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience of working/supervising in a cleaning environment.
- Previous supervisory management experience.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety.
- Knowledge of National Standards of Cleanliness.
Desirable
- Previous Hospital/NHS cleaning experience.
Skills.
Essential
- Understanding of COSHH.
- Prioritising own and others' workload.
- Use of cleaning equipment and chemicals (COSHH).
Desirable
- Experience in the use of recognised cleaning software audit packages.
