ABOUT THE ROLE As a Maintenance Assistant/Gardener at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create the safe and attractive surroundings that enable us to give our residents the quality care and support they deserve. Main duties of the job
As a Maintenance Assistant/Gardener at a Barchester care home, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the safe and attractive environment that contributes to the well-being and enjoyment of our residents and their visitors. Your role will focus on ensuring that our buildings and gardens meet the highest standards, enhancing the overall experience for everyone at our care home. This position revolves around the day-to-day maintenance of the home and its gardens, which necessitates a solid background in maintenance and gardening. We seek individuals with a nurturing and patient demeanor who genuinely care about the residents we support. Shift times are from 08:00 to 16:00 three days a week, excluding weekends. Essential
- Previous experience in maintenance and gardening is required along with a caring and patient nature. A genuine interest in supporting people is essential. There is also the opportunity for further skill development through training programs offered by Barchester.
