Job responsibilities

We seek a qualified MRI Radiographer to join our Radiology team as a Senior Radiographer in the MRI suite. The role involves performing MRI scans, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment. Candidates must have relevant qualifications and experience in MRI procedures. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team are essential. Duties include:

  • Provide high-quality MRI service within financial margins
  • Participate in high standard patient care
  • Work as part of the radiology team in the imaging department
  • Participate in on-call rota, work evenings/weekends as needed
  • Process radiology bookings
  • Handle RIS/PACS processes
  • Maintain patient care and confidentiality standards per Ramsay policies

Location: Tees Valley Hospital, Middlesbrough, opened February 2018, offering various specialties to private and NHS patients.

Essential qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Flexibility to meet business needs
  • Customer service skills
  • Computer skills
  • Experience in healthcare/hospital environment
  • At least three years of MRI experience
  • Evidence of post-registration development
