Main duties of the job

We are seeking a qualified Chef looking for a work-life balance and a meaningful career opportunity. The position of Peripatetic Chef with Barchester Healthcare involves supporting care homes in the region by delivering high-quality fresh food. Barchester Healthcare is a sector-leading company with the highest quality ratings across 224 UK homes and hospitals. The company is expanding with a plan to create 10 new purpose-built homes annually. The Chef will need a personable approach, interest in resident wellbeing, understanding of nutrition, experience with seasonal food, relevant qualifications, and up-to-date food hygiene certification.
