Job summary
Part time Role 16hrs per week, to assist in the assessment, treatment care for patients presenting in the practice. Undertake venepuncture and NHS Healthchecks, Participate in Influenza and covid programmes. Meet the needs of patients presenting as appropriate to level of competency Measuring and recording blood pressure, pulse rate and rhythm, height and weight, body mass index,
Ensure clinical area and clinical treatment rooms are clean and well stocked.
Main duties of the job
Clinical skills
Competent in taking BP readings and Venepunture.
Skilled in undertaking NHS Health checks, and capturing patient information.

Job responsibilities
Undertake record and follow guidelines for the tasks for which you have received appropriate training.
Measuring and recording blood pressure, pulse rate and rhythm, height and weight, body mass index
Perform Venepuncture.
Complete NHS Healthchecks.
Prepare and maintain environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions.
Ensure clinical area and clinical treatment rooms are clean and well stocked.
Take part in Mass Vaccination Clinics for both flu and Covid under supervision

Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above
Desirable
- Qualified in Phlebotomy.
- Immunisation Training complete
- Previous experience in Primary Care
