Main duties of the job

As a Physiotherapist, you will: Work across Inpatients and Outpatients and a range of musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative cases Be part of our multidisciplinary team of nurses, AHPs and consultants, supported by a regional Clinical Lead Help our patients achieve, maintain and recover to their aspired level of health and wellbeing Deliver excellent clinical care that's safe, effective, caring, well-led and responsive to patients' needs Be compliant with all governance standards and participate in clinical audit and quality assurance processes Enjoy protected CPD time and access to programmes and events by the Nuffield Health Academy

Leicester Hospital Founded in 1969, Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital was originally built from funds raised by the local community and is now one of the leading providers of private healthcare in Leicestershire. The Hospital has a strong local reputation with patients remaining loyal. The Hospital had a £4.5 million refurbishment in 2011 and was the blue print for the wider Hospitals refresh programme. The Hospital has 28 ensuite inpatient beds, 2 Laminar flow theatres, Endoscopy Suite, minor treatment room and 14 consulting rooms. The hospital delivers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient treatments and services using the best possible technologies. Since 2015 we have invested in a static MRI unit, a new digital X ray room & digital mammography. We are a local centre of excellence for Children and Young People Services. As a Physiotherapist at our Leicester Hospital, you'll have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. You also have excellent manual therapy skills, and you're committed to developing as a practitioner. You're a confident communicator, skilled at engaging with all kinds of people. As a Physiotherapist, you will:

  • Work across Inpatients and Outpatients and a range of musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative cases
  • Be part of our multidisciplinary team of nurses, AHPs and consultants, supported by a regional Clinical Lead
  • Help our patients achieve, maintain and recover to their aspired level of health and wellbeing
  • Deliver excellent clinical care that's safe, effective, caring, well-led and responsive to patients' needs
  • Be compliant with all governance standards and participate in clinical audit and quality assurance processes

    Qualifications

    Essential

    • As a Physiotherapist at our Leicester Hospital, you'll have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.

    Experience

    Essential

    • You also have excellent manual therapy skills, and you're committed to developing as a practitioner. You're a confident communicator, skilled at engaging with all kinds of people.
