Main duties of the job

The Role Make Every Moment Matter

As a member of the Stonewood team, youll deliver truly individualised care, tailored to each persons unique needs. Our approach ensures you have the time, training and support to provide care with compassion, dignity and excellence.

You'll work closely with multidisciplinary professionals and families to support each individual's clinical and therapeutic goals. This includes direct working with:

  • Mollii Suit therapy
  • Hydrotherapy programmes
  • Co-developing mobility and therapy programmes alongside therapists
  • Sleep system management and positioning support
  • Baclofen pump monitoring and observation
  • Personalised, one-to-one care
  • Remit to co-develop Therapy and rehabilitation support
  • Supporting daily activities and independence
  • Accompanying clients to appointments and activities

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • - A willingness to undertake relevant training and continuous professional development.
  • - Care qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable.
  • - Understanding of person-centred care principles, dignity, and safeguarding.
  • - Awareness of working alongside multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and healthcare professionals.
  • - An understanding of rehabilitation and therapeutic support.
  • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • - Ability to build trusting relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • - Strong observation skills with the ability to report changes in an individual's condition.
  • - Ability to follow personalised care plans and therapeutic programmes.
  • - Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • - Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • - Full UK Driving License

Desirable

  • - Previous experience in a health and social care setting or supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • - Experience providing person-centred, one-to-one care.
  • - Experience supporting individuals with daily living activities to promote independence.
  • - Experience supporting individuals with neurological or complex physical disabilities.
  • - Knowledge or experience of therapy programmes such as Mollii Suit therapy, hydrotherapy, mobility programmes, sleep systems, or baclofen pump care.
  • - Experience accompanying clients to appointments and community activities.
  • - Understanding of rehabilitation and therapeutic interventions.
