Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate GP to join our well-established and busy medical practice for 4 sessions per week.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive clinical team committed to delivering high-quality patient care within a welcoming and collaborative environment.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population, working alongside experienced clinicians, nursing staff and administrative teams.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* High-quality, patient-centered medical care

* Conduct consultations, assessments and treatment planning

* Manage acute and chronic medical conditions

* Maintain accurate and timely patients records

* Participate in team meetings

This role will include on call duties on a rota basis and daily home visits.

About us

At the Delamere Medical Practice we have around 15 thousand patients. Our Clinical team includes 5 partners, 4 salaried GPs, 3 Practice Nurses, 1 Care Coordinator, 4 GPAs, 1 PA and 2 FCPs

We have a Reception Team, an Admin Team, 2 Secretaries and a Medicines management team.

Job responsibilities

This Job opportunity is specifically to look after the DTA residents in a number of care homes. Providing ward rounds three times per week on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You will be able to complete admin work on site at the Delamere Medical Practice or if you prefer to work from home a laptop is available.

Qualifications

Essential

  • * Qualified General Practitioner
  • * GMC Registration
  • * NHS National Performers List Registration
  • * Medical defence organisation Registration

Desirable

  • * Experience using Emis Web, Docman and Accurx

Experience

Essential

  • * Excellent clinical communication
  • * Awareness of Safeguarding policies and procedures
  • * Knowledge of NHS Primary care and community services
  • * Enhanced DBS
