The Role: Reporting to the Resource Impact Assessment (RIA) Manager, the Senior Business Analyst (Accountant) will be responsible for the management of Business Analysts (Accountants) to ensure that they develop and produce resource impact assessments that highlight the consequences of implementing NICE guidance. The post holder will be responsible for quality assuring a portfolio of tools developed by their staff and ensuring that the outputs are timely and of good quality.The post holder will also be responsible for completing budget impact tests (BITs) and leading on the BIT discussions on behalf of the RIA team with key stakeholders such as NHS England, companies and the Medicines Evaluation Directorate.
To be considered for this role, we are looking for someone with:
- A CCAB or CIMA qualification
- Experience of funding mechanisms within the healthcare or social care system
- The ability to engage effectively with a range of external organisations and individuals on complex, contentious or sensitive issues
- Experience of managing a portfolio of projects involving multidisciplinary teams, and delivering them on time and to a high quality.
- The ability to exercise judgement across a broad spectrum of sensitive issues.
