Other responsibilities will include: Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and written records are amended to reflect any variation. Being involved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant at Abbey Court Care home, you are responsible for delivering high standards of personal care alongside the Care team, creating a supportive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Duties include monitoring residents' wellbeing, involving in care planning processes, supporting residents' medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions, and acting as a key contact point for residents and their families. ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.

- Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
- Acting as a key point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon, and concerns or complaints are escalated.

Our ideal candidatemust:
- Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- Have 2 years experience working in similar care environment.
- Have the ability tocommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have a positive attitude to bothsupporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Beresponsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Qualifications
Essential
- Must have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes and 2 years experience working in a similar care environment. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is essential, along with a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff. Candidates must also be responsive and flexible to handle a range of responsibilities.
