Main duties of the job

As a Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll be responsible for supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants, alongside the Deputy General Manager. The role includes looking after the different needs of our residents and supporting the clinical team in areas like medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews. With an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, you'll have the chance to develop your career by advancing into roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or even nursing.
