Job Summary The reproductive and childbirth Research Team is currently recruiting a Senior Research Nurse/Midwife to support the delivery and growth of our wide research portfolio. Location: St Jamess Hospital, Leeds Teaching Hospitals Contract: full time (1.0 WTE), permanent post This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse or midwife with a strong research background to join a high-performing and innovative team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the coordination and delivery of clinical research, while also leading a dedicated team committed to excellence in care, safety, and patient experience. The Reproductive and Childbirth Research Team is recognised for developing a diverse and highquality portfolio across subspecialties, and for selecting research studies that make a meaningful difference to the Leeds population. In this role, you will: - Delivery of complex clinical trials exploring new clinical pathways and treatments. -Ensure that clinical governance standards and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements are consistently upheld. - Take responsibility for managing a team of registered and unregistered staff, providing leadership, support, and oversight. - Be responsible of the finance of the portfolio Research and Innovation Department: Research is a core part of our mission at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. Over the next five years, we aim to be a national leader in clinical research delivery. We are committed to fostering a strong research culture among staff and strengthening our infrastructure to support research and innovation.
