This is a regional role based in the North of England, with regular national travel.

Main duties of the job

As the Soft Services Auditor, you will be responsible for the on-site monitoring and performance of our soft facilities management services across the LIFT portfolio, ensuring that delivery meets the required service standards and customer expectations. This will involve working closely with the Facilities Contract Manager and Assistant Facilities Contract Manager to ensure contractual obligations are being met and overseeing resolution / service improvement plans as required. You will act with a high degree of autonomy engaging with our supply chain partners, building, managing and maintaining productive relationships, specifically with regards to our internal customers. This role requires commensurate experience and understanding of contract management best practices / service standards (ideally within a Public Sector environment).You will also support quality improvement / efficiency savings activities and ensure collection and completion of accurate data in a timely manner in accordance with the Contracts Team processes and procedures.

Skills and Behaviours

Essential

  • A strong customer centric approach and focus
  • Highly organised with exceptional time management skills to prioritise multiple tasks and work to deadlines
  • Productive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team when required
  • Confident and articulate communicator both written and verbally
  • Meticulous and methodical, with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in audit documentation, reports, and data
  • A responsive and proactive problem solving mindset

Desirable

  • A strong understanding of contractual obligations and the importance of compliance, as it relates to soft FM services and auditing

Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience in auditing and contract delivery
  • A strong expertise in Soft FM services
  • Contractual awareness of SLAs and KPIs
  • Experience in managing challenging situations and dealing with conflict in a professional and customer-centric manner
  • Experience in reporting including presenting data analysis reports
  • Proficient with Microsoft packages, digital tools and systems

Desirable

  • Proven working knowledge of healthcare and primary health care Soft FM services
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience of the NHS cleaning standards

Qualifications

Essential

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 5

Desirable

  • Internal Auditor Course Qualification (ISO 9001, ISO 45001 etc)
  • BICSc Cleaning Supervisor's Certificate or BICS Cleaning Operators Proficiency Certificate
