Sterile Services Process Technician -Decontamination(Permanent Nights) Stoke Hospital Sterile Services Unit (ST5-7UF) | Permanent | Full Time From £25,038- £25,800.00 per annum 37.5 hours a week Nights + 30 % enhancement Monday to Friday 20:00pm - 04:00am If you're enthusiastic, motivated and you've previously worked in a sterile services environment, this is an exciting opportunity to join the UK's largest Healthcare Charity.

Main duties of the job

As a Decontamination Process Technician, you will: Dismantle and prepare and sterilise Medical Instruments ready for Theatre Surgery Inspect and maintain instruments to a high standard Help to ensure all equipment is in good working order Regularly check medical equipment for damage and report any faults Work with a strong friendly team Take on training as required Be computer literate Maintain a clean and tidy work environment Take action to resolve any problems Escalate issues where necessary Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with our policies and procedures Handle manual handling duties up to @13kg. Have strong attention to detail and an overarching desire to deliver a high quality service.

As a Sterile Services Process Technician at our Stoke HSSU, You will learn how to dismantle, prepare, and sterilise re-usable medical Instruments ready for our patients in our Nuffield Hospitals. You will need to be organised with good communication skills - and ideally, you're able to show evidence of sterile services training however this is not essential, full training will be provided. As a Decontamination Process Technician, you will:
