An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Administrator to join our busy Gynaecology team. This role will provide valuable experience in a healthcare setting, supporting the smooth running of clinics and helping to deliver a high-quality service to patients. Key responsibilities include: Preparing clinic notes and supporting clinic set-upAnswering telephone calls and responding to patient queries in a professional and timely manner Providing general administrative support to the team Updating patient records and managing data accurately We are looking for someone who: Is organised and reliable, with good attention to detail Has strong communication skills and a professional manner Is keen to learn and develop within an NHS environment Can work effectively as part of a team This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while developing key administrative skills within a supportive team.
This post is fixed term for 15 months from start date due to apprenticeship contract.
Main duties of the job
Your role will provide administrative assistance to the clinic coordinators which will include booking & cancelling of patient appointments, locating and preparing patient notes and greeting patients on reception. Acting as first contact for enquiries, in person and by phone, taking messages and redirecting them to the appropriate section or member of staff and other general administration duties.
To attend regular review meetings with the supervisor and assessor, leading to an Apprenticeship Qualification in Digital Skills for Business Level 2.

Agored Diploma in Digital Skills for Business (QCF)
Level 1 Essential Skills
Prentis-iaith Welsh Language Development
