Job summary
We are an integrated Community Children's Therapies service providing assessment and intervention for children and young people aged 0-19 years with a range of physical and developmental conditions, complex needs and life limiting conditions.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the service for a full time administrator to join our friendly teams at the Walsall Child Development Centre.
The post holder will assist in the development and administration of the Walsall Child Development Centre under 5's specialist pathways across Speech a and Language, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and 0-19 services.
There will be regular dealings with the families known to the service by taking phone messages and the successful candidate must therefore be able to respect confidentiality, be courteous, non-judgemental and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be expected to show the application of a high standard of administrative skills and a good degree of personal initiative appropriate to the specific tasks to be undertaken. Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work on their own or within a team whilst under pressure, and ability to manage own time and work load are essential. You will need to be a team player and be able to work collaboratively within the integrated team as well as the wider MDT. Multidisciplinary and multi-agency working is a major part of the role and the service and allows the team to provide person centred, safe and joined up care

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is an integrated Trust and the only provider of NHS acute care in Walsall, serving a population of 284,300. Job responsibilities
Experience of using the adopted Patient Administration Systems, Electronic staff record systems and NHS Catalogue ordering systems is an advantage but training in these systems will be provided. Other duties will include the optimum use of computer software packages for work processing, presentations and spreadsheets, and ability to set-up/manage systems to collect and monitor/analyse data.

- RSA 3 Word Processing or equivalent OR C&G 4400 In Business Administration or Administration NVQ Level 3
- GCSE English Language Grade C or above or equivalent
