Our multi‑activity venues also feature mini‑golf, VR, Combat Karts, virtual darts, bowling, sports bars and quality food & beverage options - creating high‑energy entertainment spaces.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Area Manager to lead an initial portfolio of four sites, growing to six within six months (subject to readiness). You'll support, coach and develop General Managers, drive commercial performance, ensure consistent operational excellence and maintain the highest standards of compliance, safety and guest experience across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and coach GMs, AGMs and Heads of Department across your area
• Ensure high-quality delivery of Business Plans, PDPs, reviews and 1:1s
• Drive consistent operations and a premium Guest Experience
• Work with Support Centre teams to roll out initiatives, reporting, training and processes
• Deliver Membership, F&B, Merchandising and Ancillary strategies
• Visit each site at least once per fortnight to review standards, safety, compliance and F&B execution
• Manage ER/people issues, escalating only complex or high‑risk cases
• Oversee wage control, rota management and customer complaint escalations
• Support Alternative Provision and Instructor performance where required

Person SpecificationEssential

• Proven General Manager experience with multisite leadership in retail, leisure or hospitality
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication and people‑development skills
• High operational standards and strong attention to detail
• Proactive, delivery‑focused and aligned to TeamSport values
• Ability to travel regularly across the South Coast/South Region

Desirable

• Experience in multi‑activity leisure
• Passion for motorsport or karting

Location

Ideally based centrally in the North London/Essex region for balanced travel.

This is a leisure and hospitality operation - our peak times are evenings and weekends. Flexibility is essential, and you can expect 1 in 3 weekends off.Successful applicants will be required to complete a DBS check.
