Night Concierge

About the role

We have a new 12-month fixed term role based at our Pickmere Extra Care scheme in Crewe.

The purpose of this role is to provide a welcoming reception and effective access control services to ensure a safe and secure living environment. This is a full-time position working 12 hour shifts, 2 nights on, 4 nights off.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone with direct experience working with residents and handling feedback in a busy service‑delivery environment., You will be a confident user of IT equipment, including knowledge of CCTV operation. The role will also include some domestic duties such as buffing in communal areas.

You will be able to demonstrate these essential skills:

• Direct experience of working in a service delivery environment.

• Experience of adhering to Health and Safety rules within a customer facing environment.

• Good level of IT skills and knowledge of CCTV operation.

• Good time management.

• Good team working skills and a flexible approach to work.

• Good oral and written communications.

• Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.

Desirable skills:

• Previous concierge experience.

• Previous experience of operating CCTV, including compliance with the Information Commissioner's CCTV Code of Practice.

• Contractor management and experience in the delivery of estate, cleaning, caretaking, gardening and maintenance services.

• Experience of Health and Safety legislation and best practice in the delivery of estate services.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Health and Safety certification.

• City & Guilds or NVQ in CCTV/Security Services.
