Vehicle Handover Specialist
£110.00 per day - Self-Employed
VQS are the largest independent supplier of vehicle inspections in the UK. We operate nationally at client locations and provide full UK coverage with field-based inspections.
Our inspect and collect service combines high quality costed inspections with a cost-efficient logistics service.
We work with vehicle manufacturers, leading financial institutions, fleet and leasing businesses, and nationally recognised daily rental and car subscription operators and collect and deliver new and used vehicles to locations across the country from our offices and hubsites throughout the UK.
We're looking for Drivers to join our team to complete collections and deliveries for our fast-growing organisation.
You will be in contact with our team to discuss timing details, re-route plans and other essential information as well as liaising with customers over the phone and in person.
This requires excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver to a specified location on time and with accuracy.
This is not a 9 to 5 role. Start time is generally around 7am, with the length of days changing from day to day, depending on daily volumes.
This is a self-employed role, offering up to 5 days work per week. Ideally, we would like people to be available Monday to Friday, but 4 days per week may be considered as long as Friday (our peak day) is 1 of the 4 days that you're available.

What we offer:
- £110.00 per day
- 5 days per week, Mon - Fri
- Picked up and dropped back at a depot every shift with NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT
- Trade plate and fuel card provided
- Be part of a team collecting and delivering vehicles under 3 years old
What you'll need:
- A minimum of 5 years UK driving experience
- No more than 3 points on your licence
- Aged 30+ for insurance purposes
- Be smart (NO TRAINERS or SPORTSWEAR), polite, courteous and reliable
- A mobile phone with "WhatsApp"
- Use of a satnav or driving app such as "Google maps" or "waze"
- A good geographical knowledge of your area and beyond
How it works:
A team of drivers meet at a set depot. You'll be dropped at your 1st collection and given a destination to deliver the vehicle to. A Team Leader will follow you and re-collect you and take you to the next collection.
- Any fuel will be paid for on a company fuel card
- Deliver typically between 2 to 3 vehicles per day depending on distance and plan
- There will never be the need to take vehicles home
- There will never be the need to use public transport
- Invoice us weekly and we'll pay into your bank account the following Monday
