Easy canape: mozzarella lollipops

Want to cut down the time you spend in the kitchen when you are entertaining? I do! Which is why I am going to make these little cold canapes for my husband’s upcoming birthday dinner (sssshhhhhh, don’t tell him, it’s a surprise!).  I will assemble them up to two hours before his guests arrive so I can enjoy chatting with them too, rather than running back and forth to the kitchen. 23 calories each, so nice and light.

 

MOZZARELLA LOLLIPOPS

Ingredients makes 20

20 mini mozzarella balls
6 pieces of sun-dried tomato, each cut into 3 or 4
20 basil leaves
20 cocktail sticks
If you prefer, use salami or half an olive instead of the sun-dried tomato.
