Ingredients
85g of feta cheese (for best results, select one that’s square or rectangular)
1 sheet of filo pastry
2 tsp of hot honey (like this one from Hilltop)
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp crushed pine nuts
Olive oil (for brushing)
Directions
Preheat oven at 180℃
Heat sesame seeds and crushed pine nuts in a pan over medium heat for 1-2 minutes while shaking regularly. This should give them a lovely toasted taste.
Lay out the filo sheet and brush all over with olive oil.
To wrap the feta, place the block along the short end of the filo sheet. Roll it up and fold the edges in before the final roll. Brush the outside of your parcel with olive oil.
Place your parcel in a tray and bake for 20 minutes.
Once done, drizzle your parcel with hot honey and sprinkle on the pine nuts and sesame seeds.
