If you want to make a healthy start to the year, then it’s important not to skip out on breakfast! If you’re short on time in the morning or you struggle with the idea of eating a proper meal when you’ve just woken up, then this quick and easy breakfast smoothie can be a great alternative.

We’ve used a few popular ingredients, but there’s no reason why you can’t get creative and either substitute some of these or add a few new ones.

Total time: 5 minutes

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 200ml milk (of your choice)
  • 1 banana, chopped
  • 1 tsp peanut butter
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 100g strawberries, chopped

Method

  1. Put all of the ingredients in a blender for between 30 seconds and 1 minute, or until completely smooth.
  2. Serve in two glasses and enjoy!
