Partnerships & Outreach Coordinator

Reach Volunteering

Job Description

Support the organisation by building partnerships and identifying collaboration opportunities with local organisations, schools, and community groups. Help expand our network, increase visibility, and create new opportunities for growth.

What will you be doing?

As a Partnerships & Outreach Coordinator, you will support the organisation in building relationships and identifying new collaboration opportunities that help expand our reach and impact.

This role focuses on connecting with local organisations, schools, community groups, and potential partners to explore ways of working together.

You will help identify and approach potential partners, support communication, and contribute to developing ideas for collaboration that benefit both the organisation and the wider community.

You will work closely with the organisation's lead, helping to shape outreach efforts and ensure a consistent and professional approach to partnerships.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Identifying potential partners (schools, charities, community groups, organisations)
  • Supporting outreach and initial communication
  • Helping to develop and maintain relationships
  • Identifying collaboration opportunities (events, workshops, joint projects)
  • Supporting follow-up and coordination of partnerships
  • Contributing ideas to expand the organisation's network and visibility

This is a flexible role suited to someone who is confident communicating with others, enjoys building relationships, and is motivated to help organisations grow through collaboration.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is confident communicating with others and comfortable building relationships.

The ideal volunteer may have experience in partnerships, outreach, community engagement, or communications, and is able to take initiative and follow up independently.

Strong communication skills, reliability, and a proactive approach are important.

Experience in the charity, education, or community sector is helpful but not essential.

What difference will you make?

This role will support the organisation's growth by helping us build strong partnerships and expand our network. By connecting with local organisations and communities, the volunteer will help create new opportunities for collaboration, increase visibility, and support access to resources and funding.

Stronger partnerships will enable us to reach more children and young people, deliver more activities, and develop sustainably over time.

Good luck with your application
