Reviewer & Content Writer. Writing Group

We offer an exciting program of writing talks and workshops for our members . Can you help us to write reviews and content ready to upload onto website, our FB page and Fb group for our upcoming season which starts in September, to help raise our membership and identity?

What will you be doing?

We are looking for an experienced review and content writer to support our exciting program of talks and events for our members writing group. We are based in Norwich and meet monthly. You would be part of the events and program team, working alongside the Program Secretary and capturing events as they happen ready to upload to social media and our website.

Awareness of GDPR essential.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has at least 3 years experience of writing reviews and content for magazines or online sources, who can create a record of events that can be uploaded to our website and social media to help develop our core capabilities in both marketing our group and extending our membership.

An interest in the Writing community is desired, to understand what we would need to promote our program of events and meetings. We occasionally have stands at events, such as the National Centre for Writing and would benefit fromreviews at those times.

Must enjoy working as part of a team, will need to occassionally attend programming meetings, and be prepared to join our events whatsapp group.

Most of our meetings are in the evening once or twice a month, except outside events such as Publishing Fair, book launches, Competition Gala and Norwich Book Festival, which helps to raise our membership capacity.

All of our volunteers are members of our group for which there is an annual fee, which will be complementary for the first year.

What difference will you make?

Our Members look forward to interesting talks and workshops from the publishing / writing community each month and without reviews and information on upcoming events our members may miss those opportunities.

Creating content will help to reach a wider audience bringing new members and therefore longevity to our group.
