Job Description

Join this amazing baby loss charity supporting families who have experienced twin or triplet loss. Help us to develop content and manage our social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn. We are a small, caring and friendly team. Flexible 10-15 hours/month.

What will you be doing?

The charity is run by Sharon and Suzie plus two part time staff. We also have 45 incredible volunteers, most whom help with support but about 10 who help in more non-supporting roles such as helping with our website, marketing and training development.

We have a clear structure and well tested and utilised model for recruiting, inducting and managing volunteers and ask all our volunteers to sign an agreement to ensure everyone is clear about the role. We hope this gives peace of mind and clarity in each role.

This specific role will include working with Sharon to help her manage the social media platforms used by the charity. They are a really important gateway for many bereaved families to find out about this unique and vital support. For some people accessing our social media helps them feel a lot less alone and isolated in their grief.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Creating content for all platforms using Canva
  • Content review of Awareness Days and updating existing graphics
  • Potential for the role to engage with and respond to the community
  • Help to grow the audience across all platforms
  • Occasional setting up posts and posting content

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with expertise and experience in managing social media. As our subject matter is extremely sensitive, we will always help guide and assist where there is any concern with sensitivity of content etc.

2025 has marked a significant step forward for Footprints. With more families reaching out to us, we have strengthened our support services, expanded our volunteer team, and broadened our national and international presence. Our growing programme of training, conferences and collaborative work has allowed us to influence bereavement care across multiple sectors, while our digital community continues to offer comfort, understanding and connection to those navigating the unique heartbreak of baby loss in multiples. The collective efforts of our volunteers, supporters and partner organisations have enabled us to shape meaningful change, deepen our impact and ensure that bereaved families are not alone.

Across our public social media platforms we have seen steadyand meaningful growth, helping us reach more families andraise awareness.

Together, these digital developments allow us to connect withmore people, share vital information, and ensure families canfind support whenever and wherever they need it.
