Job Description
**Why we want you**
Brighton & Hove Swift Group has been monitoring Swifts nesting across Brighton & Hove since 2014 and is believed to be the group with the longest record. The results of nesting activity are published each year and feed into the national databases for Swift populations managed by the RSP and BTO, identifying trends both nationally and locally. The Group needs a volunteer with an excellent understanding of Social Media to be the focal point for its Social Media presence across the range of platforms, working with other team members to discuss and agree content to be published.
**What you will be doing**
- Assume responsibility for the Social Media presence of the Brighton & Hove Swift Group
- Drive the development of the Brighton & Hove Swifts social media presence
- Advise group members style and format of content and assist with drafting
- Publish and manage the lifecycle of content across all social media platforms
**The skills you need**
- Excellent understanding of the various social media platforms
- Computer and internet literate, with email access
- Good organisation skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and flexible
- Passion and enthusiasm to help give nature a home.
