Job Description
We involve Volunteer Gardeners in a variety of our services, including in our special education schools and residential homes. We are fortunate to have outdoor spaces that are well maintained with lawns mowed and hedges trimmed, but we welcome green-fingered volunteers who can help us bring a bit more life and interest to them! We believe in the benefits of colourful and inviting outdoor areas for the mental health of the children, young people, and staff who use those spaces, and in the sensory stimulation and understanding gained from growing herbs and edible produce.
You'll be part of a friendly team and will really use your skills to make a difference to young people's lives. If you love being outside and bringing nature to life, this could be the role for you!
Where you will be based
At our College Campus or Residential Home - to be discussed
