Grade 2- £24,796 - £25,185 (Pro Rata) Pay award pending.

Permanent, Full Time.

Required to start 1st August 2026.

At St. John's CE (Aided) Primary School we are looking for a dedicated and reliable Caretaker/Handyperson to join our team. In this role, you will help to ensure the school remains safe, clean, and well-maintained by carrying out routine maintenance, site security, and general caretaking duties, including internal/external maintenance and decorating.

The successful canidate will need to take pride in keeping environments running smoothly, enjoy practical hands-on work, and be committed to supporting a welcoming school community.

The successful candidate should:

Have the skills and knowledge to ensure the school is a safe and clean environment

Possess excellent organisational and general DIY skills

Have an understanding when dealing with children and adults

Keep calm under pressure whilst maintaining confidentiality

Have an enthusiasm which would allow you to be supportive of the School's Christian, Vision and Values
