We are seeking a caring, committed and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team and support our youngest learners as they begin their school journey. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support childrens learning through high-quality, play-based experiences that encourage exploration and curiosity
Work collaboratively with the class teacher to deliver engaging and purposeful learning opportunities
Promote positive behaviour and help children develop socially and emotionally in line with our school values
Contribute to a warm, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where every child feels they belong
Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues

Hours of work; Monday Friday 8:30-13:00 (including 1 hour welfare duty) The contract will be a variable hours contract with a minimum of 22.5 with the potential for extra afternoon hours.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

NVQ level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy
Has experience of working with young children in a school or early years setting
Is kind, patient and nurturing, with a genuine enthusiasm for supporting childrens development
Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills
Is committed to inclusion and ensuring every child can achieve their full potential
Shares and supports the Christian ethos and values of our school
