This is an incredibly exciting time to join our service. We have launched Living Better Lives in Lancashire our new strengths-based vision for Adult Social Care. Through this we are embedding innovative practice that will make a real difference to the lives of people in our communities. We are looking for a Social Worker to support us to deliver our vision of supporting people to achieve what matters to them, living independently in a place they call home.

Collaboration and co-production are at the heart of what we do. Working alongside partners, community organisations, carers, and most importantly the people we support to shape meaningful and personalised outcomes.

The role

Joining our Mental Health Team as a Social Worker in this role, y ou will support adults with mental health needs through strengths-based, person-centred social work. You will work closely with health and partner agencies to promote recovery, reduce delays, support safe transitions and help people achieve the outcomes that matter to them.

Should you choose, we will support you to qualify as an Approved Mental Health Practitioner, following qualification you will be moved to a grade 9 posts and work on our AMHP rota.
