Seven Stars Primary School is a caring and inclusive primary school at the heart of its community. We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and reflective teacher to join our team in a 0.5 part-time role.
The role is 0.5 part time with teaching in the following classes:
Year 5 teaching Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons
Year 2 teaching Thursday morning
Reception teaching Friday mornings
There will also be opportunities for subject leadership, dependent on experience and interests.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity, progression and high-quality learning across all phases.

Has the ability to teach across Key Stages 1 and 2 and Early Years, demonstrating flexibility and strong pedagogical understanding

An advanced DBS check will be required for the successful applicant.

Qualified Teacher Status
Degree (or equivalent)
Experience of teaching (which could include teacher training placement experience)
An understanding of effective transition and progression between phases (EYFS, KS1, KS2)
Use of ICT to support teaching and learning
Experience of teaching pupils with a range of SEND within a primary or special school setting
Working knowledge of assessment procedures and ability to analyse and utilise data to support progress to raise achievement
Experience of teaching across multiple key stages, including EYFS
Experience of subject leadership or a willingness to develop leadership skills
Experience of working collaboratively within a team-teaching mode
