NCIC is excited to announce a volume recruitment drive for Health Care Assistants needed across a variety of departments and locations in our Trust. We will be holding an interview day in Carlisle on Friday 26th June 2026. In order to be considered you will need to be available on this day and also for training. If you are unable to commit to this date then unfortunately alternative dates will not be available. Interviews will be focused on our values of kindness, respect, collaboration and ambition.

Qualifications
Essential
- National Care Certificate or commitment to complete as part of induction process.
- Level 3 vocational qualification in health and care
- Competency and experience of a range of care and related clinical or therapeutic procedures
Desirable
- Numeracy and Literacy GCSE level 4 or above or equivalent qualification
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Experience of working in health or social care.
- Experience of undertaking and recording clinical observations and escalating changes or findings
- Working knowledge of legislation underpinning care provision
- Understanding of the importance of robust, accurate, clear, timely documentation.
- Insight into behaviours and skills of a carer and the need for effective team work.
- Knowledge of Safeguarding.
- Understanding work-related boundaries.
