Job summary

At Frithwood Surgery, we value our team, not just their output. The GP partners at our semi-rural practice near Stroud are looking to recruit a Salaried GP for 4 sessions per week.

We pride ourselves on creating a positive environment for our team which we feel is so important when meeting the challenges of Primary Care. We've maintained a small practice, friendly feel which is underpinned by the strength of our Stroud Cotswold PCN.

Our practice is 10-15 minutes east of Stroud with 7000 patients and a dispensary. We have three GP Partners and two Salaried GPs, with an experienced team of support staff.

We are a training practice and will look to enhance your own clinical and educational development. You will receive six weeks holiday and one week of CPD time (pro rata).

Main duties of the job

You will be providing primary care services, working under the direction of the GP Partners.

Responsibilities include clinical consultations (phone/in-person), managing patient caseloads, home visits, prescribing, and associated administration.

Job responsibilities

You will work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care while complying with the contract.

Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

Essential

  • Qualified GP with full GMC registration.
