Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Orthopaedic team of nurses, medical staff and allied health professionals working within the Norfolk and Norwich Orthopaedic Centre (NaNOC) and our Orthopaedic directorate. This is an exciting and progressive directorate which is continuously adapting to meet and enhance the care provided to our patients.

Main duties of the job

Working alongside all members of the clinical team within the multidisciplinary framework, the Ward Clerical Officer is an essential part of the Team. Including helping to streamline the work of the ward, support and assist all members of the ward team to provide a quality service.

The key responsibilities of this post will include managing the ward reception desk and the main reception desk as required, dealing with telephone enquiries from visitors and other departments, greeting all visitors to the ward and providing support to the clinical team.

Working pattern to cover the needs of the service will be discussed at interview.
