Nine years ago, after injuring her knee, Jo Moseley (60) turned to paddleboarding as a low-impact, full-body workout – but she found so much more than a way to stay fit.

Since then, her passion has taken her down many unexpected paths. In 2019, she became the first woman to paddleboard 162 miles coast to coast from Liverpool to Goole, and this year, she published her third book: Adventures on the Water – The Power of Paddleboarding to Change Lives.

Rest Less spoke to Jo about her journey so far, the lessons she’s learned along the way, and how over 50s can follow in her footsteps.
