PART TIME SITE SUPERVISOR - 22.5 hours per week - 2pm to 6:30pm
We are seeking a reliable School Site Supervisor to join our outstanding, popular, and oversubscribed school.
Along with the Site Manager, will be responsible for supporting aspects of site management, including health and safety, security, cleanliness, porterage, routine maintenance, refurbishment and minor repairs.
Other responsibilities
Act as a keyholder, carrying out security procedures for the buildings and grounds.
Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs (carpentry, plumbing, painting, basic electrical work)
Ensure the site is clean, safe, and well-presented at all times
Assist with Lettings out of school hours, opening, closing, communication
Undertake some cleaning tasks, which include window cleaning, classrooms, corridor and floor buffing
Monitor and manage heating, lighting, and alarm systems
Conduct regular health & safety checks, including risk assessments and compliance checks (training can be provided)
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and external agencies when required
Support school events and activities by setting up rooms and moving equipment
Respond to emergency maintenance issues promptly
Flexible approach to working hours when needed
Ensuring that all areas are free from litter and that drains and gutters are free flowing.

NVQ Level 2 qualification in Caretaking (or equivalent)
NVQ Level 3 qualification in Caretaking (or equivalent)
Experience of undertaking a caretaker or site supervisory function
Experience of supervising staff
Experience of working within a school
