Vanessa Tanner

Vanessa Tanner lives in Devizes, Wiltshire, with her husband, John, and cat, Willow. She recently retired after 20 years as an English teacher, both in the UK and Oman. During her time in the classroom, she gathered many experiences and met some interesting characters, some of whom feature in her stories. Nowadays, she fills her days out in the garden where she grows a lot of fruit and vegetables. When she's inspired, she turns to writing. If she needs to relax, she reads the latest novel for her book group. She's also a bit of serial volunteer. Need some litter picking up? Need some advice on being more sustainable? Want to open your garden this summer? She's your woman. She's also an independent Town Councillor and was recently selected by her party to be the next Deputy Mayor.
