Job title:Logistics Planner

Location:Sheffield. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary:£39,873 depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Unload and/or receive items safely
  • Receive in items (internally and externally), ensuring documentation is correct and packaging intact, recording items on SAP as soon as practical to do so
  • Store items so they are easily retrievable with appropriate identifiers
  • Pick items required by production, update SAP and deliver to correct location (raising any incomplete requirements before releasing)
  • Manage stock movement records in SAP as directed by Projects
  • Carry out cycle count as directed by Team Leader
  • Operate Fork Lift Truck and other stores equipment, including checks, basic maintenance and record keeping
  • Liaise with 3rd party logistics providers

Your skills and experiences:

  • Experience of working in a warehouse & logistics environment
  • Working knowledge of SAP (warehouse management) and other ERP systems, MS Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of and practical experience in stores & logistics procedures
  • Fork Lift Truck driving experience with a valid FLT Licence
