Job Title: Security Assurance Lead (Supply Chain)

Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £46,000 dependent on experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Establishing, monitoring and managing supply chain security assurance programme in order to prevent damage, loss or compromise of assets across the Physical, Personnel & Cyber security domains held within the supply chain
  • Undertaking assurance checks on periodic basis to ensure security risks are understood and communicated to key stakeholders ensuring compliance with HMG and Company security requirements as a minimum
  • Building & maintaining effective relationships and coordination with key local functions and business representatives
  • Supporting the implementation of Supply Chain Security Demand Management

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Developing and maintaining security assurance programmes (Supply Chain)
  • Managing security risks through to closure
  • Experience of managing internal and external security stakeholders
  • Understanding of complexities of security conditions in contracts (defence and non-defence related conditions)

Desirable:

  • Hold a qualification/certification of one of the following: CISM, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, CSMP

The Shared Services Security team:

You will be part of a small team in Shared Services providing key security outcomes for the business across a large number of sites with multiple stakeholders and a diverse portfolio. This is a rare opportunity to be in a diverse, challenging role and one where you will be helping to set how Security is delivered going forward across the business in the UK whilst ensuring we meet the needs of the business and Government security regulations.

Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
