We are a successful and privately owned company of many years standing. Chadwick Textiles are market leading fabric and garment importers with vast experience - we design, develop and stock our own range of premium quality team and sportswear clothing apparel selling to retailers, resellers, and brands , achieving significant year-on-year growth.

Due to our continued expansion from our purpose-built site in Altrincham , we are looking to recruit an exceptional sales account manager with energy and personality. A "can do" attitude and a strong work ethic is essential. Experience in the Sportswear or Schoolwear industry is not essential, but the successful candidate should have had a minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy office based sales orientated role or similar environment. You should be used to making a significant amount of outbound calls to new and existing customers on a daily basis in order to identify opportunities and develop customer relationships. Product and system training will be provided. As a company we seek to develop and encourage individuals who demonstrate the right aptitude and desire to succeed and progress in their role.

You must be self-motivated, professional, well presented, and organised being capable of turning prospective new leads into potential customers . You will be expected to maintain and increase business with many long-standing customers in line with the company's objectives and strategy . We do not sell to end user, this is a B2B sales position allowing you to use your skills to build long term business relationships. The role will also require you to travel and meet a wide range of customers face to face, We anticipate you will need to be to spending approximately 2 or 3 days per month externally seeing customers in different UK locations

Key elements to the role include:

  • Managing your own account list of approx. 200 B2B existing accounts.
  • Following up new leads generated by our own in-house online marketing campaigns.
  • Managing and maintaining customer intelligence , key prospects and actions using our CRM customer database.
  • Contributing to sales projects which offer new products and incentives to new and existing customers.
  • Managing customers ongoing requirements, gaining product and competitor feedback, and identifying competitive threats to the business.
  • Building your knowledge and credibility in a significant and exciting market

Salary level will depend on experience c£30/35k, plus target based commission after qualifying period.

We also offer a discretionary bonus for company and personal performance.

Hours 8am - 5pm, office based.

We have pool cars that we use for customer visits.
