Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for an Annual Maintenance Planning and Delivery Manager to join our Technical Services team!
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of annual maintenance for all rides across the Resort. You will develop a comprehensive plan to ensure the successful delivery of maintenance, ensuring that all pre-maintenance tasks are completed on time, within budget, and in line with deadlines to guarantee a smooth start to the season.
Additionally, you will lead and manage the project team to address any maintenance issues that arise during the season, while also preparing for the upcoming annual maintenance period.
This position is critical for ensuring the timely and efficient completion of the annual maintenance plan for all rides, as well as driving continuous improvements in the maintenance process. It involves both strategic planning and hands-on execution of annual maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, ideally within the construction or facilities management sectors.
- Project management qualification such as PRINCE 2 or APM.
- HND/HNC qualification in a relevant engineering field.
- Proven experience in planning and delivering large-scale projects, particularly maintenance-related projects, including managing multiple stakeholders and resources.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, including risk management, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and navigate challenges.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices within the construction industry is advantageous.
