The role spans quality assurance, health and safety, and stakeholder management. As the consistent individual on site, youll be the voice of the customer and they may be several time zones away. Use every facet of your skills to deliver works in the national interestYoull draw on all your skills and experience from working on construction projects from commissioning work and carrying out site surveys, through to overseeing technical work and managing risk. Well expect you to play a key role championing compliance at all stages from helping review design documents, through inspecting and reporting on progress, to checking the accuracy and quality of installation work. To thrive in this role, youll need good leadership skills and the confidence to work independently. Language skills could be a real advantage but are not essential. You might have a background in the military, tools or trades. You may have expertise in electrical or mechanical engineering. Whatever youve done to date, youll certainly demonstrate the ability to get to know and understand complex briefs. Youll need to be comfortable in a role that can be physical.
