Job Description

As our Media and Communications Assistant, you will:Develop Engaging Content: Create media content that highlights RAF Boulmer's role and operations to the local and regional community, through internal publications, social media, and various media channels.Coordinate Community Engagement: Organise and manage visits from community groups and stakeholders, showcasing the critical role of RAF Boulmer and Air Command and Control Force in UK Air Defence.Maintain Resources: Update the RAF Boulmer Station Handbook and other key informational resources.Provide Support to Media and Communications Officer: Deputise as needed, including holding the duty phone and be an integral part of the Business Continuity and Station Incident Team.Please Note: The successful candidate will be required to attend a two-week residential training course within the first six months of employment.
