Strategic Industry Engagement Senior Policy Advisor

The AI Strategic Industry Engagement Team is part of the AI Policy Directorate. Artificial Intelligence is at the cutting edge of technological advancements, and the AI industry in the UK is continually evolving and growing. This role is both exciting and fast-paced, offering a dynamic work environment. Our team engages directly with the UK's AI industry, as well as with relevant policy teams within government. We engage with the UKs AI industry to ensure that DSITs policy objectives across the spectrum of AI policy are achieved. Additionally, we serve as a valuable source of expertise and advice across DSIT and other government departments on how to effectively engage with the AI industry. We collaborate closely with policy teams and Ministers to coordinate different engagements, ensuring there is a cohesive and comprehensive government approach to engaging the AI industry.
