Summary

Operate airside mobile catering service for Heathrow staff.

Job Duties

• Drive vehicle airside and serve pre-packaged food from jiffy van which holds hot food (ready meals from hot hold counter and chilled food (such as baguettes) as well as retail items (confectionery, crisps, canned drinks, bottled drinks) and klix coffee from coffee urn.

• Food safety - take temperature records and record these in daily Food Safety log. Record wastage also

• Vehicle is in a static location at Terminal 3. Food is produced at Terminal 2, so role involves driving between the two terminals.

• Operate handheld card reader for customer payment

• Maintain clean and serviceable food service area

• Retail skills - keep retail area topped up and appealing to customers

Requirements

• Full, clean driving licence

• 5-year traceable employment history, for airside pass application

• Able to communicate with customers and colleagues on a professional level.

• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

• Full training provided

• Full airside driving training provided

Working Conditions

• Daily driving. Often in adverse weather conditions

• Full PPE and safety clothing is provided.
