Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dedicated class teacher to join our happy and supportive team from the 1st September 2025. This post could be initially based in either Key Stage 1 or 2, so we ask that candidates state their teaching experiences on their application.

Richardson Endowed Primary School is a welcoming school with a family feel, where everyone in our team works hard to ensure the best outcomes for all.

Our children are polite, enthusiastic and keen to learn. They learn best when teaching is engaging and well matched to individual needs, so we are looking to appoint an outstanding practitioner with strong inclusive values and high expectations of all learners.

We passionately believe that all children should feel included, secure, valued and challenged in all aspects of school life.

We are looking for someone who:

  • enjoys working with children and puts the children's well-being first.
  • is creative and has the ability to make learning fun and engaging whilst ensuring the needs of all children are met.
  • has high expectations for all children in terms of achievement and behaviour so they reach their full potential.
  • Is a team player - we support and care for each other.

The successful candidate will bring additional strength to our teaching team, through their excellent classroom practice. Applications are welcome from ECTs and experienced teachers. Depending on experience, this post brings the opportunity to develop subject leader skills, and to become involved in the wider life of the school.

If an ECT is appointed, they will be provided with the statutory induction support along with additional early career professional development with other ECT's within the Embark family.

We are proud to be part of the Embark Multi-academy Trust and to be part of their innovative, collaborative professional development programme.

Candidates are asked to state particular strengths and experience as part of their written application.
