Salary/Grade: £25,695.17 - £26,947.01 per annum- Grade 4
Hours/Days: 37 hours per week - permanent
Location: Bolsover District Council, The Arc, High Street, Clowne, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. S43 4JY

A vacancy has now arisen within the Housing Management Department for a Land and Property Assistant.
This is a wide-ranging role and an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate who willbe assisting the Council in all aspects of property management activities across all the Councils stock, both Commercial and Residential. This will include valuations, Landlord and Tenant Activities, Acquisitions and Disposals.
The successful candidate will be supporting the Councils Senior Valuer, with their guidance and as appropriate based on the qualifications, will undertake these activities. There will be opportunities for training and continuing professional development for the successful candidate.
You will need to be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, including officers, Councillors and general people.
To be successful you will need:
·Experience of general estates management landlord and tenant matters and principles affecting local government
·Experience of carrying out valuations of a variety of property assets
·Knowledge of Landlord and Tenant Legislation and Local Government Law and practice
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
·Excellent analytical skills
·Ability to work on own initiative and make clear, consistent decisions
